Rural Health Research Training Survey
B. Minore, J. Kulig, N. Stewart, and G. Mack

The purpose of this project, done on behalf of the Rural Health Research Consortium, was to develop a national inventory of the teaching and training opportunities in research specific to rural health that are available in Canadian universities. The questionnaire, in a web-based format, was sent to individuals in administrative positions at selected schools and departments, as well as medical and nursing faculties. CRaNHR (Lakehead Site) was responsible for the data collection and took the lead in writing the final report. The inventory was submitted to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, successor agency to the Medical Research Council of Canada.
