J. Roger Pitblado, Ph.D. Geography

Roger Pitblado was a professor in the Department of Geography.
His research has been centered around the utilization of quantitative methodologies and the applications of digital remote sensing and geographical information systems for environmental mapping and monitoring.
Since joining CRaNHR, he has been applying these methodologies (especially GIS and spatial statistics) to the analysis of regional variations of health status and health care utilization. His current interest is in examining ways to disseminate statistical/spatial information via the Internet.
