Sylvie A.I. Larocque, Ph.D., R.N. School of Nursing

Sylvie's clinical expertise is in pediatrics (care of children and their families).

A professor of nursing, she teaches the introduction to the nursing profession, care of children and their families, and nursing theories.

Her research interests are: Impact of chronic illness on children and their families, family centered care, and career plans of nursing graduates.

Sylvie received a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Nursing, University of Alberta.
