On December 17, 2010, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) released the Rural and Northern Health Care Framework/Plan Stage 1 Report. The report was developed by the Rural and Northern Health Care Panel to help identify and better understand opportunities for improving access to care in rural, remote and northern communities. The Panel's work is the first of a three-stage approach by the government to develop the province's Rural and Northern Health Care Framework/Plan.
The purpose of the webcast/videoconference is to educate and inform members on the report's highlights and recommendations, and to provide additional details on the Ministry's public consultation process. Members will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
Target audience:
- Hospital CEOs
- CCACs CEOs
- LHINs CEOs
- Board members
