Chiachen Cheng, M.D., is with the First Place Clinic and Regional Resource Centre at the Canadian Mental Health Association in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She obtained her medical degree at Queen's University Faculty of Medicine in Kingston, and subsequently completed fellowships at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University in Hamilton, and also with the Health Services Research and Consulting Unit at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health at the University of Toronto. Dr. Cheng has interests in mental health services, policy research, early psychosis intervention, and child/adolescent psychiatry, and has both clinical and teaching experience across Ontario and Newfoundland.
