Grace Bandoh, Ph.D.

Grace has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana, a Master of Science degree from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, and a PhD from the University of Waterloo. In 2004-2005, she received a Doctoral Research Award from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). She has done research in Africa and the Netherlands, as well as Canada. Her primary research interests are in citizen participation, rural development and community empowerment as ways through which social conditions can be improved. Grace joined CRaNHR in 2008 and has worked on a number of projects that focus on health improvement for First Nations people in Ontario.
